Welcome to my online home. I don’t mean to publicize or advertise this website; rather, I’m using it to post a few things online that I’d like my closest friends to see.
J. R. R. Tolkien introduced me to fantasy with The Hobbit. From there, I’ve read everything from R. A. Salvatore to Stephanie Meyer. My current favorite is Terry Goodkind; right now I’m trying to decide who to steal money from so I can buy his next book.
When I was sixteen, I started sketching out fantasy stories. I found a small online forum and spent most of my time writing short fantasy fiction. I decided to pay attention in English class and actually apply myself to the work assigned. And I realized I was making a half-way decent writer.
God gave me a creative mind. I can barely stop myself from writing, crafting stories in my head. I’ve written a novel, which I’m calling Alixander Fey: Heritage. I don’t claim to be professional or skilled. I’m only an amateur learning as I go.
I finished the first draft a few months ago. I’ve spent most of my time trapped between school and editing. I realize every day how much work real writers put into their craft. One day I hope to have a finished product, one that I can submit to an editor and seek publishing.
For now, hop over to the community page and chat with me. Some of my closest friends (also amateur writers) spend a lot of time there. If you’re here, chances are you know at least one of them already, but we’d love to chat with you.
If you’d like, visit the Heritage page and read the Prologue or any of the chapters I decide to post.
